Body composition changes slowly - months, not weeks. Furthermore, there can be daily variations (see FAQ:  Why do I get a different result to my scales at home?). Because of these factors, we try to smooth out your data by averaging the first 5 tests. We then indicate a trend on subsequent tests to show what changes have occurred. The trend results are a better reflection of any body composition changes than comparing individual tests.

Additionally, body composition changes are influenced by your nutritional intake as well as your physical activity level. Making dietary changes can support you to make the body composition changes you are aiming for, alongside a regular, progressive training regime.
